My name is Dillon Brock, and I am currently in the 9th grade. I am very good with math, science, and social studies. I like to take on challenges even though they might be much bigger than I can accomplish.I plan on finishing up high school and completing a four year college with a bachelors degree. I am interested in being a financial planner. I would like to pursue this career because it is what my father has always done. I get to be trusted with other people’s money to double or triple the amount plus I get to plan out what they need to do with the money also.I am good in math so that I could be fully trusted from the other people’s perspective. Self employed is mostly chosen. If not there is Edward Jones, Ameriprise financial, or American express. They would say that I have always wanted to do this career and if have prepared for it. They would also say that I am good with people. I have grown up with knowing all about this job and what to do in certain situations. With my father being the financial planner my mother is an accountant. Therefore I know the accounting side of the job too. I learned how to make a portfolio and use it correctly. I have also learned about what employers look for when looking for new employees and how to appeal to them better.
